Prize Winner 2006

The prize for the best performing coin classification program went to Marco Reisert, Olaf Ronneberger and Hans Burkhardt of the University of Freiburg. Their program classified 9724 of 10000 coins correctly and no coins incorrectly. They were presented with the prize of EUR1500 sponsored by the MUSCLE Network of Excellence. The solution is described in the online proceedings.
